Fox Sports is getting back to its roots with its new reality show Big Brother.
Starting Sunday, March 20, the network will air Big Brother’s weekly episodes with the same title and format as last year.
The new season will consist of eight weekly episodes, with three of the eight episodes airing on Thursday nights at 8 p.m.
ET.
The show will be produced by Big Brother alumni Josh Horowitz and Andrew Shapiro.
The new show will follow the life of the houseguests from Season 17, where the cast of Big Brother was composed of five members.
In Season 18, the cast consisted of eight members.
The show will take place in 2019.
“Big Brother is the ultimate competition show that pits friends against each other,” Fox president and CEO Dana Walden said in a statement.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Big Brother franchise back to CBS for its 10th season.”
In addition to the new Big Brother, the show will also air a new game show, “The Big House,” featuring a family of nine competing for the top prize.
The first episode will air in 2019 and will consist only of a few games, including two rounds of houseguest elimination.
