By The Associated Press”We’re excited for this year,” said Mary Ann McKean, principal of Manhattan High School.
“It’s a big year for us.
We’ll have a whole bunch of new students, we’ll have all the new things going on.
We’re just really excited to have them and be part of this great community.”
The students will have to wait until fall to learn their new school year.
In 2019, there will be three classes, and in 2020 there will only be one.
McKean said there are no plans for a second school year in 2021.
But students will be able to register online and get in touch with teachers.
“It’s going to be exciting,” she said.
The summer school was a hit in New York.
There were some concerns that it was too crowded.
Students were told that they would be required to wear masks, and that they were allowed to bring in only one backpack.
But it was a success, McKeon said.
It was the first time in history that the students had the opportunity to bring their own gear.
The students have since brought back all of their gear.
In 2019, the school will have classes of about 50 students, but the enrollment will increase to 80 students by the time the summer school ends in 2021.
“We’re so excited about this, but at the same time we’re not so sure we’re going to make it,” said student Marisa Rodriguez.
“We’re not sure how it’s going, but it’s really exciting.”
